I began my online research looking for a 1973 Corvette when I came across one being advertised by Verrillo Motor Co. The advertisement stated 22,000 original miles and matching numbers so obviously this caught my attention. Like many viewers I reviewed their website and began reading customers reviews. I was amazed out of a 100 reviews that everyone of them was excellent. This was important to me because I live in Fl and my research was in April when we were in a pandemic with the coronavirus, and travel was limited.
I called and spoke with Sunday who she and her husband Joseph own the business. She was so friendly and knowledgable that she made me feel so comfortable from the beginning. She answered mostly all my questions about the car but for a few so she recommended that I speak to her husband Joe. I spoke to Joe and he too was most kind and answered all my questions, and offered to send me any additional information or pictures I wanted. Obviously I wanted more pictures on the matching numbers and closer looks at the paint, body condition and the undercarriage. He and Sunday both accommodated my requests without ever once pressuring me or wanting to know how serious of a buyer I was. A day or so later I again spoke with Joe and asked if I can have an inspector come by and look at the car since I wasn't coming to NY. Joe had no problems with having someone come to inspect the car. I did contact an expert in corvettes but unfortunately he too was limited on his ability to freely travel during this time. However he and Joe did speak and Joe accommodated him with anything he needed. After they spoke I was assured by my expert that it was matching numbers and everything appears as advertised.
Although I had all this information I was still reluctant to make any offer because I never bought a vehicle sight unseen. I had 1 or 2 more conversation with Sunday and Joe and again at no time did they ever "blow me off" or rush me to make any decision. In fact they both went out of their way and were very understanding of my reluctance to buy from out of state without physically seeing or driving the car. I asked Joe if there were any previous customers that he knew of who bought under similar situations. Joe did provide me with someone so I did call. The person happen to be in Arizona and he too told me that he bought from Joe sight unseen based off Joe's experience and good reputation in the business. He understood my hesitation but said I would not be disappointed if I bought, as he now has bought several from Joe sight unseen without any issues.
At this point based on everything I previously discussed I made an offer on the car and bought it. Joe made arrangements to have the car delivered to me and with 72 hours the car was in my driveway. I was so excited because the car was even more gorgeous in person and drove beautiful.
Unfortunately the day after I had the car the hose to the AC leaked and it wasn't operating well. I called Joe and he felt terrible but both of us knew that this was something that could not have been detected early on, as it was working when it left his business and working when I received it. Joe immediately said he would pay and take care of this, and within 24 hours he called and had already made arrangements with a dealership in my area to fix it.
Joe and Sunday and their entire staff are what makes their business so remarkable as how they treat their customers. I hope for those who have read this review and maybe in a similar situation as I was that you find comfort in making a decision to buy from Verrillo Motors. I would be happy to speak with anyone about my experience. Found a vehicle online, Joe had it ready for pickup very quickly. I bought the car sight unseen and am very happy with my purchase. I was In and out within 10 minutes they gave me plates and everything. Both Joe and his wife Sunday are very easy to work with. I would definitely buy from them again.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Sunday, Joe and the entire staff were out of their way helpful and courteous. Sunday even called me the next day to make sure I got the car and myself home safe. Wonderful buying experience. They have great showroom, vehicles are top notch.

Joe and Sunday were amazing owners to explain and help me with the the process of buying a 46 year old classic car. Dealing directly with owners who pride themselves on high customer satisfaction is a great pleasure. Their showroom and service area are beautiful. The Corvette level of restoration work is amazing and far superior to anything I have seen including any car in any of the high priced Auctions. I am very thankful there are still owners that care deeply about their customers.

I must tell you about my wonderful experience at Verrillo Motor Car Co. I purchased a Porsche Boxster, couldn't make the trip because of distance so needed much info. Bill Wattie answered all my questions and request for a video walk around with commentary. Tom Stark provided a clear and thorough presentation covering every possible detail of the car. Buying a car sight unseen is always stressful and difficult. Not the case at Verrillo, their honesty, sincerity and willingness to help with all aspects made it easy. They arranged for delivery and I received a perfect car just as described. Communication was exemplary, no glitches anywhere in the process. Car delivered inspected, registered, insured and detailed to concours specs. Joe Verrillo followed up with a call to make sure I was completely satisfied. An amazing transaction, cannot speak highly enough about their incredible service. Look forward to buying my next car from them. You should too, you'll be thrilled.
